Assistant Wine Maker
Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Assistant Winemaker Candidate must have hands on knowledge and experience with standard winery equipment, such as press, filters, pumps, etc.
Must be able to perform winery tasks without supervision (sampling, racking, cleaning, blending, barrel cleaning, additions, etc.
) and follow and complete work orders accurately with attention to detail.
Bachelors of Science in Enology and/or 3 years minimum equivalent industry experience required.
Additional skills:
o Enthusiastic and positive attitudeo Strong work ethico Experience running lab analysis and knowledge of interpreting lab resultso Computer competency, including MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.
)o Assist with purchasing and maintaining supplies for the wineryo Experienced wine tasting palette o Ability to work well with otherso Communicate with the Vineyard Manager to ensure grape qualityo Tasking duties to seasonal staff Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver's license with good driving recordo Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
o Ability to work flexible and extended hours as neededo Must know how to operate a forklift Job Type:
