Assist Human Resources with daily tasks and projects in order to support department goals and provide customer service to employees.
Principal duties of the Human Resources Assistant:
Conduct orientation and complete hiring processes, including preparing and maintaining new hire benefit guides Create and manage HR reports as assigned Purchase and maintain inventory of company logo apparel and print products Ensure compliance reporting is timely and accurate Assist with:
Completion and documentation of pre-employment screenings Maintenance and audit of personnel files (incl.
I-9s, terms, etc.
) Entering new hires and terminations in HRIS Benefits enrollment and follow up with employers and carriers Development and distribution of employee communications Administration of employee recognition programs FMLA related questions and eligibility requirements Tradesman licensing and certifications to include the coordination of the apprenticeship program Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent demonstrated experience preferred 2 to 3 years of general HR experience General experience and knowledge of human resources practices and procedures Other Requirements:
